What counts as an active project? +
An active project is one where your team or contractors take any action during your billing year. Dormant projects — ones with no activity — don't count toward your limit, ever.
Can contractors use BuildingCX for free? +
Yes. Contractors you invite access the platform through the contractor portal at no cost to them. They see only their assignments and fill their sections.
How do I upgrade from Solo to Firm? +
You can upgrade at any time from Settings. Your data and projects carry over seamlessly.
Is there a monthly plan? +
We offer annual billing only. This keeps pricing simple and aligned with how commissioning projects run — they span months, not weeks.
What if I need more than 30 active projects? +
Contact us at hello@buildingcx.com and we'll work out volume pricing based on your needs.
Can I cancel anytime? +
Yes. If you cancel, you retain access through the end of your billing period. Your data remains available for export.
