Creating Templates

Clone a global template, or build one from scratch.

Two ways in: clone a global template and land straight in the editor on your own copy, or start from scratch at New Template — pick Pre-Functional or Functional Test first, then build.

The builder lets you add, remove, and drag-reorder sections. Each section has a title, an optional trade tag, and a list of items — either a plain checkbox or a checkbox paired with a measured value. Alongside that, you define your org’s Signature Roles (who actually needs to sign off) and set template-level metadata like equipment type. A live preview sits next to the builder the whole time, so you’re never guessing what the final form looks like.
